Mount Marty Men’s Basketball fell in double overtime to the Midland Warriors last night, 99-93 in Yankton.

Damon Opdahl set a new career high with 23 points in the loss. His biggest shot of the night would come with 13 seconds left in the first overtime to tie the game at 85.

Along with Opdahl, four other Lancers scored in double figures. Mac Ryken had 18, Tash Lunday scored 14, Jared Lopez had 12, and Rugby Ryken finished with 11 points, 8 assists, and 0 turnovers in his first start of the season.

The Lancers are on the road on Saturday, taking on Northwestern in a men’s and women’s doubleheader in Orange City, Iowa.

The Mount Marty Lancers were defeated by Midland last night, 92-83 in GPAC Women’s Basketball action.

Emma Jarovski led MMU with 19 points in the loss. Alexus Motley followed with 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals.

The Lancers are on the road on Saturday, taking on Northwestern in a men’s and women’s doubleheader in Orange City, Iowa.

Yankton Bucks Basketball returns home for the first time in two weeks tomorrow night, hosting Sioux Falls Roosevelt.

The Bucks are 2-8 on the year following Tuesday’s 49-46 road win over Sioux Falls Jefferson. Roosevelt enters with a 2-7 record.

Tip-off from Yankton is scheduled for 7:00 PM tomorrow night. Pregame coverage on KYNTV begins at 6:30. Bryce Ladwig will be on the call.

Yankton Gazelles Basketball is on the road tomorrow night, taking on the Sioux Falls Roosevelt Rough Riders.

Yankton is coming off a loss to Sioux Falls Jefferson earlier this week. Tomorrow will be only the second road game since December 31st, 2024.

Tip-off from Roosevelt High School is set for 7:00 PM. Pregame coverage on KYTNV begins at 6:30. Brayden Butler will be on the call.

Yankton Gazelles Gymnastics is on the road tonight in Hendricks, Minnesota for a dual with Estelline-Hendricks.

The competition will be held at the Barn in Hendricks. Events are scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM.

South Dakota Women’s Basketball is now 3-3 in Summit League play following last night’s 72-53 loss to North Dakota State.

Grace Larkins posted team-highs in points with 23 and rebounds with 7 for USD. Carley Duffney added 13 points of her own in the loss.

USD hosts in-state rivals South Dakota State on Saturday inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.

South Dakota Men’s Basketball will be on the road in Grand Forks tonight to take on North Dakota.

The Coyotes are 11-9 on the year with a 2-3 conference record following their loss to North Dakota State on Saturday.

Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM tonight.

South Dakota State Women’s Basketball remained perfect in conference play last night, defeating St. Thomas 83-76.

Brooklyn Meyer led SDSU with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Katie Vasecka (Va-seek-uh) followed with 20 points as well.

SDSU travels to Vermillion on Saturday for a matchup with their in-state rivals South Dakota.

South Dakota State Men’s Basketball will be on the road tonight for a Summit League matchup with Kansas City.

The Jackrabbits are looking to extend their winning streak to three straight following wins over Oral Roberts and North Dakota.

Tip-off from Kansas City, Missouri is set for 7:00 PM tonight.
