Mount Marty Men’s Basketball completed the season sweep of Hastings last night by defeating the Broncos 58-54.
The Lancers held a two-point lead late in the game before Rugby Ryken hit a three-pointer with just under 40 seconds to play.
Ryken ended with 7 points and 4 rebounds. Tash Lunday led MMU in scoring with 14 points. Sutton Arend added 13 points and a team-high 7 rebounds.
The Lancers are on the road again on Saturday to take on Dakota Wesleyan in Mitchell.
Mount Marty Women’s Basketball fell to the Hastings Broncos in GPAC action last night, 90-52.
Remedy Morrison recorded a team-high 10 points. Sidney Thue followed with 9 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block.

Yankton Gazelles Basketball will travel to the state capital tomorrow night to take on the Pierre Governors.
Yankton is currently on the outside looking in for the SoDak 16, as they are 19th in Class AA with 7 games remaining. The Governors are currently 7th in the class with a 6-5 record.

Yankton Gazelles Wrestling is set to host a varsity invitational tomorrow night at Yankton High School.
Wrestlers from over 30 schools are scheduled to compete in the event. Matches begin at 4:00 PM Friday afternoon.
South Dakota Coyotes Men’s Basketball is on the road tonight, taking on the Denver Pioneers in Denver, Colorado.
USD is 13-10 on the year, 4-4 in conference play, coming off their 91-87 win over Omaha last week. Denver enters the contest at 8-16 overall, 2-7 in Summit League play.

South Dakota Women’s Basketball is set to host the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles tonight inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
The Coyotes are coming off a 76-66 win over North Dakota on Saturday. That win ended a four-game losing streak that started with a loss to North Dakota on January 15th.

South Dakota State Men’s Basketball returns home for the first time in nearly two weeks tonight, hosting St. Thomas in Brookings.
The Jackrabbits look to bounce back after their 80-75 loss to North Dakota last weekend. SDSU had won five straight prior to their loss.

South Dakota State Women’s Basketball remained perfect in Summit League play last night, defeating North Dakota 66-45 in Grand Forks.
Brooklyn Meyer led the Jackrabbits with 19 points and a pair of blocks in the win. SDSU’s defense forced 27 turnovers, compared to only 12 turnovers of their own.
The Jackrabbits are back home on Saturday, hosting Oral Roberts inside First Bank & Trust Arena.
