A power outage that occurred in the Yankton area Tuesday morning affected nearly 1,900 NorthWestern Energy customers.
Jo Dee Black, with Northwestern Energy says the outage was reported around 4 a.m. and power was down for nearly three hours.
Black says that crews are working to determine the cause of the outage.
