Below freezing temperatures are expected to stick around the Yankton area today and Wednesday.
Kelo Meteorologist Scot Mundt says that the Yankton area could reach temperatures near 20 below.
Mundt says that fortunes could be turning soon though, as he is forecasting temperatures in the 40s and 50s over the weekend and into next week.
Mundt says that he recommends staying indoors as much as possible over the next couple of days.
