During a press conference on Thursday morning, South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden announced “Project Prison Reset.”
Rhoden says the project’s goal is to use multiple sources to answer three questions regarding a new prison.
Rhoden says that several people outside of the South Dakota Legislature will serve as part of this project, including Yankton Police Chief Jason Foote.
Rhoden says that the task force for “Project Prison Reset” will begin meeting on April 2nd, and meet every four weeks until the project is completed.
