Yankton Thrive along with the South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation hosted a job fair Tuesday.
Thrive Workforce Development Director, Rita Nelson, says it was nice to see the community rally together after 277 people were laid off last week when CIMPL Meats ended its operations in Yankton.
Nelson says the general feel at the job fair was that of appreciation.
Nelson says nearly 30 businesses were at Tuesday’s job fair.
