Yankton Bucks Baseball split their doubleheader with Sioux Falls Jefferson last night, losing game one 4-1 before winning game two 1-0.
Owen Wishon tallied the only Yankton hit of game one. Matthew Sheldon drove in the winning run in game two in his lone at-bat of the day. Beck Ryken earned the win on the mound, striking out three batters while allowing no hits over five innings.
Yankton is back in action on Saturday for a doubleheader in Brookings.
Mount Marty Baseball will be in action tonight for a non-conference doubleheader against Mayville State University.
The Lancers are 19-13 on the year coming off a doubleheader sweep of Dakota Wesleyan on Sunday where they outscored the Tigers 15-0 over two games.
First pitch of game one from Riverside Field is set for 4:00 PM with game two to follow.
Mount Marty Softball returns home this afternoon for a GPAC doubleheader against Hastings.

Yankton Junior Harrison Krajewski scored his 100th varsity singles victory yesterday, as the Bucks tennis team defeated Sioux Falls Roosevelt 9-0.
The Bucks return to Sioux Falls on Friday for a triangular against Sioux Falls Jefferson and Milbank.
Yankton Track and Field claimed 18 event victories in their home triangular yesterday against Sioux City East and Sioux Falls Washington.

Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Golf both placed third at the DWU Spring Invite, which concluded yesterday in Mitchell.
The Lancer men tied with Briar Cliff for 3rd, shooting a 607 as a team. Ted Bengston led MMU with a 3rd place finish individually.
The Lancer women shot 673 as a team, led by Kelsey Heath. Heath was the top individual golfer, shooting a 158 for the tournament.
The Lancer men will compete in the Northwestern Invitational on April 14th, while the women travel to Lincoln, Nebraska, for the Kaitlyn Erickson Doane Invitational on April 14-15.
Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Tennis will travel to Sioux City, Iowa this afternoon to take on Morningside. Matches are scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM.
