The Mount Marty University football program got a commitment from another Yankton Bucks senior. Trevor Fitzgerald has decided to attend school and play football for the Lancers starting next fall. Fitzgerald accounted for a total of 29 touchdowns rushing and passing and 1,330 total yards in helping the Bucks reach a 9-2 season.
The Mount Marty University baseball team has received commitments from three standouts in the Nebraska metro areas. William Johnson is a shortstop/pitcher from Lincoln Southwest and joins a Southwest teammate Joon Dunsmore who is a pitcher/outfielder. Kalen Piechota is a catcher/infielder from Creighton Prep in Omaha. All three excelled on summer league teams in the Omaha area this year.
The Mount Marty softball squad signed two players who starred on the diamond at Miles City Community College in Montana. Reagan Harper is an outfielder from Billings, Montana and Taylor Woolley is an outfielder from Post Falls, Idaho.
