The University of South Dakota women’s basketball team whipped Bradley 84-68 on Thursday. Senior Hannah Sjerven paced the Coyotes with 31 points and 21 rebounds, the first 30-20 game by an NCAA player this season. Senior Chloe Lamb scored 18 points and in the process hit the one-thousand point level in her career. The USD women are 3-2 and will play at the University of Oklahoma on Sunday afternoon.
The USD men’s basketball squad will have their home opener tonight, taking on Drake University at 7:00 in the Sanford Coyote Sports Center. The Coyotes have a 1-5 season record, while Drake is unbeaten in six games.
