The Yankton boys basketball team led by 11 points after the third quarter and held on to edge Sioux Falls O’Gorman 47-45 last night. Matthew Mors paced the fourth-ranked Bucks with 14 points and 9 rebounds, while Jaden Kral chipped in 11 points. Yankton is 3-1 on the season and will host high school teams from Wyoming next Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon.
Top-rated Sioux Falls O’Gorman downed the Yankton Gazelles 66-30 on Tuesday. Jordynn Salvatori topped the Gazelles with 10 points in the contest. Yankton is now 1-4 on the season and will host Sioux Falls Washington Monday at 1:30.
