Interstate-29 has fully re-opened in South Dakota again on this Friday morning. I-29 was opened back up at 6:30 this morning from Sioux City to Sioux Falls, and I-29 north of Sioux Falls was back open at 7:30 AM.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol and Department of Transportation had closed Interstate-29 in South Dakota Thursday night at 10 PM because of icy roads and the very high winds with limited or zero visibility in many areas.
