Two special meetings of the Yankton County Commission are set for Friday morning and Monday evening, with the second meeting focused on the county’s zoning ordinances.
Tomorrow’s meeting concerns health insurance coverage and Commission Chair Cheri Loest says the county is considering what insurance proposal to accept.
Loest says Monday’s meeting is the first of two meetings to gather public input concerning the county’s agricultural zoning regulations.
Loest says many times, residents have sought variances to the county’s regulations on acreage sizes, indicating that ordinance may need to be revised.
Friday’s’s special Yankton County Commission meeting is set for 9 AM with Monday’s special meeting beginning at 6 PM at the Yankton County Government Center.
