As South Dakota attempts to continue the fast pace of its COVID-19 vaccine roll-out, health officials describe a multi-step process that can create a scramble for drivers to deliver the vaccine shipments in winter weather.
Secretary of Health Kim Malsam-Rysdom says the work of people to help with deliveries can be a tricky process. As of Thursday at noon, the state of South Dakota had administered vaccines to over 51-thousand people and 11-thousand of them have received two doses of the vaccine.
