Mount Marty junior Brian Santiago of Hartington won the three-thousand meter race at the Dordt Open on Saturday in 8 minutes, 43 seconds. That time broke a Lancer school record and qualified Santiago for the National Indoor Meet.
Mount Marty has recently announced three additional football recruits. The Lancers received commitments from Justice Schmitt, a 6’5” wide receiver from Lincoln Southwest High School in Nebraska, Mathew Ellis, a 6’3”, 300-pound offensive lineman from Cherokee High School in Marlton, New Jersey and Joey Pullar who is a 6’2”, 235 pound defensive end from New Windsor, New York.
