One of the top young girls athletes in the state has committed to attend school and play basketball for the University of South Dakota…and she still has two years left in high school. Avery Broughton is a six-foot forward from Corsica-Stickney. Broughton has been a two-time First Team All-State selection in Class B and after her sophomore year is the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,429 points.
