When students go back to school in a month, the Yankton Boys & Girls Club will be going with them.
KYNT News announced earlier this month that the Yankton Boys and Girls Club received a $1.1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers program.
Tim Lease, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains, says that this grant will be a part of a five-year program to help elementary-school students achieve academic success…
Lease adds that they are currently seeking staff for the program…
As employees are in high demand already, Lease says that they are actively recruiting students from Mount Marty and USD to be a part of this innovative program.
