If all goes according to plan, another RV park is coming to Yankton’s lake area.
The Yankton County Commissioners this week, on a 4 to 1 vote, issued a conditional use permit to a Sioux Falls based company to build an eighty-eight lot RV resort at Whitetail Run. The RV campground will be located just behind the new coffee shop, directly across Highway 52 from the Meat Lodge.

The Commissioners, meeting as the board of adjustment, approved the construction plan on the condition that there will be no year-round tenants allowed at the RV park. No timeline was given on when construction will start on the project.
