- South Dakota earned a thrilling 73-71 victory on last night inside D.J. Sokol Arena, home of the Creighton Bluejays. South Dakota (7-3) has won five in a row entering Summit League play next week. It was the first loss for Creighton (6-3) on their home floor this season. The Coyotes hit the road to begin Summit League action next week. Oral Roberts is up first at 2 pm Monday afternoon in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- South Dakota State football will try to punch its ticket back to Frisco, Texas, the FCS Championship as they face off in the FCS semifinals at Montana State tomorrow. Jackrabbit coach John Stiegelmeier says it’s another chance for his team to prove themselves. The game is set for a 1 pm kick from Bozeman, Montana.
