An Arkansas woman is dead today after her car collided with a semi at a Cedar County intersection. The Cedar County Sheriff’s office was called last night to the junction of Highways 81 and 84 west of Hartington for a collision between a 2017 Nissan Altima driven by Elizabeth Soisouvanh, 21 of Waldron, Arkansas and a 2004 Kenworth driven by Loren Beitelspacher, 52 of Aberdeen.
Cedar County Sheriff Larry Koranda says it appears Soisouvanh ran a stop sign at the intersection. She was declared dead at the scene. Beitelspacher was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
