Scherschligt reminds everyone that with the absence of rain, plus the consistently high winds, the risk of burning is far too great until conditions improve. He explains that all the fire chiefs in the county are in support of the county-wide burn ban.
The Commissioners voted unanimously to enact this burn ban.
