Last night the Meridian District of Yankton hosted the Yankton Parade of Lights and the Tree Lighting Ceremony with fireworks.

The parade started with the Yankton Police Department battling The Grinch, and concluded with the Yankton Fire Department escorting Old Saint Nick, himself.
Youmans invites everyone down to the tree…
At the conclusion of the parade, Mayor Stephanie Moser led the assembled crowd in the tree lighting and admired the fireworks display, while Santa and Mrs. Clause talked to a large gathering of children.
