  • Due to weather conditions, yesterday’s Yankton Basketball games versus Sioux Falls Washington, and Yankton’s home Gymnastics Triangular have both been rescheduled at their original times. The basketball matchups are rescheduled for February 21st and the gymnastics meet is rescheduled for December 19th.

  • The (4-6) USD Women’s Basketball team host UT Martin tonight at the SCSC. Tipoff is scheduled for 530pm. This is the last non-conference matchup for the Yotes. The game will be followed by the (5-6) Men’s team, playing host to Coastal Carolina. This will also be the men’s final non-conference game of the season.
  • The Yankton Quarterback Club continues today at JoDean’s. The guest speaker is Mount Marty Men’s Basketball Coach Colin Authier. Speaking begins at 12pm, and a lunch buffet is available for purchase.
  • The NCAA Division I FCS Football Semifinals are this weekend, and a ticket to the Championship game in Frisco, Texas is on the line.

  • Three players who have led South Dakota State’s strength in the trenches during the 2022 football season were honored yesterday by being selected to The Associated Press FCS All-America First Team. Seniors Garret Greenfield and Mason McCormick received first-team honors. On the other side of the ball, defensive tackle Caleb Sanders also earned first-team accolades.
