It was this time last year when Yankton Thrive introduced Thrive Bucks to the Yankton community.
Becky Wiswall, the Business Services Director at Thrive says that the Thrive Bucks program is a gift card that allows shoppers to spend at local businesses.
Wiswall says that the first year of the program had its hiccups, but brought in over $100,000 in the past year.
Wiswall says that the Thrive Bucks program has been a hit with local businesses.
Wiswall added that nearly 30 businesses in Yankton accept Thrive Bucks gift cards.
