Jake and Sandy Hoffner have been revealed as the Captain and Belle of Riverboat Days 2023.
The announcement was made as last night’s Yankton Morning Optimist Club’s annual Baseball Game and Youth Clinic.
Sandy, who taught at Yankton High School for 21 years, says that they’re honored to represent the community.
Jake, who served three terms on the Yankton City Commission (One as Mayor), says that they’re excited to be ambassadors for the 40th anniversary of Riverboat Days.
Riverboat Days 2023 will be held August 18th-20th.
