It’s law enforcement officer week, and the Yankton community is doing their part to show appreciation for their local officers
Yankton County Sheriff Preston Crissey says that the sheriff’s office has been swarmed with food from the community throughout the week.
Crissey says that another way the public can help the sheriff’s office is by reporting any activity that may seem suspicious.
Crissey says that everyone at the sheriff’s office is grateful for all of the appreciation and support that the community has shown this week.
