Yankton Post 12 are 2nd in the latest Class A Legion Baseball standings ahead of their double header this afternoon with the defending state champions, Rapid City Post 22.
Yankton are coming off their first league loss of the year to Aberdeen over the weekend, while the Hardhats of Rapid City are looking to gain momentum towards their state title defense, as they sit 7th in the Class A standings.
First pitch of game one between Yankton and Rapid City is scheduled for 4:00 PM at Riverside Field. Coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 3:30, Bryce Ladwig and Brayden Butler will be on the call.

The Yankton Fury Fire softball squad is set to host SD Phoenix, and Wayne in a triangular this afternoon.
All three games between the teams are set to take place at Riverside Park, with the opening game slated for 5:00 PM.
As for Yankton Fury Red and Fury Black, Red will be in action again on Thursday as they host Sioux Falls Flash, while Fury Black do not have another game listed on their schedule until the Ringneck Invitational, beginning June 30th.
Fox Run Golf Course will be hosting a Pro-Am event beginning on Thursday. The Fox Run Dakota’s Tour Pro-Am will be contested in both team and individual formats, and will run from Thursday the 22nd through Sunday the 25th.
