One-person has died following a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon, ten miles northwest of Tyndall.
Preliminary reports indicate that a semi-tractor-trailer was heading south on state highway 37, when it struck the side of a Nissan Xterra heading west on state highway 46 that had failed to stop at the stop sign posted at the intersection.
The driver of the Nissan passed away from the accident, while the driver of the semi received minor injuries.
No names have been released at this time, and the investigation being conducted by South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is still ongoing.
