Mount Marty has announced that they will be launching a graduate certificate in Endocrinology for nurse practitioners.
MMU President, Dr. Marc Long, says that this is a major step in providing expanded access to high quality diabetes care in rural areas.
According to the University, it is one of two certificates in the United States, with the other at Duke University.
The certificate in Endocrinology will be an online, one year, 10 credit program.
The program will launch in January.
