The Yankton Fire Department responded to a semi-truck that caught on fire Tuesday afternoon.
Yankton Deputy Fire Chief, Larry Nickles, says that the truck was headed westbound from Gayville towards Yankton.
Nickles says that firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly.
Nickles says that there were no injuries and traffic was brought down to one lane for about an hour.
