Mount Marty Women’s Basketball moved to 4 and 8 on the year yesterday with a 93 to 66 win over Bethesda University of California.

            No stats from yesterday’s contest were available at the time of writing. MMU will stay out west for their next game, as they take on Pacific Union tomorrow at 3:30 PM.

Mount Marty Men’s Basketball will hit the road this evening for a matchup with the University of Sioux Falls.

            Mount Marty enters tonight’s contest with a 2 and 8 record on the year, in what will be their first game since December 9th.

            Tip-off from Sioux Falls is scheduled for 5:30 PM this evening. Pregame coverage on KYNT begins at 5:00. Tehl Tanner will be on the call.

            Yankton Bucks and Gazelles Wrestling will compete in a triangular in Brookings this evening, against the Bobcats and Sioux Falls Roosevelt. Matches will be held at Brookings High School, beginning at 5:00 PM.

            The final South Dakota High School Basketball Polls of 2023 was released yesterday, with a pair of local teams named in this week’s list. Vermillion fell from 4th to 5th in this week’s Class A girls poll, while the Avon girls squad continued to receive votes in Class B.

            South Dakota Women’s Basketball’s Kendall Holmes was honored by the Summit League yesterday, as she was named Peak Performer of the Week for the first time in her career.

            Holmes averaged 16.5 points per game this past week, with her biggest bucket being a game-tying 3 with 5 seconds remaining against UT Martin over the weekend. USD would go on to win the game in overtime.

            Holmes and the Coyotes will return home tomorrow night, as they host Bradley inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM.

South Dakota Men’s Basketball will be on the road this evening, as they take on CSU Bakersfield in Bakersfield, California. Tip-off is slated for 9:00 PM this evening.

South Dakota State Men’s Basketball tip off the Don Haskins Sun Bowl Invitational tomorrow in El Paso, Texas against Wyoming. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM.
