South Dakota AAA is projecting over three hundred thousand South Dakotans are expected to travel for the holidays.
Shawn Steward with SD AAA says that is up 1.3% from last year.
Steward says that one contributing factor to the projected increase in travel is the decrease in gas prices.
Steward says that SD Triple A says that they expect this Saturday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. to be busiest time for travel over the holidays.
