Lauren Hanson has announced that she will be stepping down as executive director of the United Way of Greater Yankton.
Hanson, who has been with United Way for over 13 years, says that working with the incredible United Way staff, board members, donors, volunteers, and the individuals and families served has been an honor and a privilege.
United Way Board President Dr. Marc Long says that the Board of Directors will begin a search for a new executive director immediately.
Hanson will stay in her role as executive director until February 15th.
