A former USD student facing Second and Fourth-degree rape charges in an incident that occurred on campus on September 9th of last year appeared in court yesterday.
Gavin Jensen, 19, appeared via zoom Thursday to address a motion of continuance filed by his defense team.
Jensen’s defense team filed the motion to provide more time to review evidence related to the charge against him.
The motion was granted by Circuit Judge Tami Bern.
Jensen is currently scheduled to stand trial beginning on May 13th.
Jensen is next set to appear in court on April 11th for a motion hearing.
