Two Bloomfield residents have been arrested following a shooting Tuesday that left two men dead at Curt’s Lanes.
The Nebraska State Patrol says at approximately 9:30 a.m. authorities received a report of a shooting at 112 West Grant Street in Bloomfield.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office and Bloomfield Police found two men dead of apparent gunshot wounds.
A Nebraska State Patrol investigation led to the arrest of Alias Reed, 25, of Bloomfield. Reed is being held in the Knox County Jail on two counts of first-degree murder.
Reed’s girlfriend, Kaylyne Sweazy, 27, was also arrested for tampering with evidence. Investigators say the shooting occurred during an altercation between Reed and the victims at the bowling alley.
A media conference has been called for 10AM Wednesday morning at the Bloomfield City Hall.
