Friday is the deadline for city commission candidates to turn in their nomination petitions for the upcoming city commission election.
Yankton City Manager Amy Leon says that candidates interested in running in the election, need a minimum of 50 signatures.
Leon says that petitions need to be turned in by 5 p.m. Friday.
