A man was arrested after a pursuit in Yankton County Wednesday.
Yankton County Sheriff Preston Crissey says that the pursuit began when a deputy attempted to stop a 4-wheeler near the intersection of 8th & Summit St. in Yankton for reckless driving and the driver failed to pull over.
Crissey says that the driver then continued out of town and eventually fled on foot leaving the 4-wheeler in a field near Avera Sacred Heart Majestic Bluffs.
Crissey says that law enforcement was able to apprehend Blaine Knutson, 35.
Knutson has been charged with Reckless Driving, Driving While Revoked, Eluding Law Enforcement, and Possession of Stolen Property.
