The woman charged with tampering with evidence in a double homicide that occurred in Bloomfield, NE in late February has pled not guilty.
Kaylyne Sweazy, 27, is accused of tampering with evidence in the double homicide of Curtis Strom, 77, and William Reffett, 49.
The alleged double homicide was carried out by Sweazy’s boyfriend, Alias Reed, 25, faces two charges of first-degree murder in the matter.
During Sweazy’s court appearance Tuesday in Knox County, her defense attorney, Rod Smith requested a hearing on the admissibility of character evidence, which is scheduled for May 28th.
Sweazy’s trial is set for August 19th, with a pre-trial hearing on June 25th.
