Synthetic line has been placed inside the pond at Westside Park.
Yankton City Manager Amy Leon says that all the seams have been welded together and will be tested to assure that there will be no leaks.
Leon says that contractor will be placing clay and rock around the pond soon.
Leon says that they hope to have water in the pond by the end of the month.
