The South Dakota Primaries are set for Tuesday, but the deadline for absentee voting is Monday.
Yankton County Auditor Patty Hojem says that those looking to absentee vote need to do so by 5 p.m. Monday.
Running for South Dakota Senate in District 18 is Lauren Nelson and incumbent Jean Hunhoff.
The District 18 House of Representative race includes Yankton County Commission Chair John Marquardt, and incumbents Julie Auch and Mike Stevens.
