Yankton Thrive held a banquet earlier this week to celebrate the Taco Takeover event that was held in May.
Thrive Tourism Director Brittany Wagner says that they had eight businesses participate in the takeover.
Wagner says that they handed out awards with Chaparro’s Tacos leading the way with two awards.
Wagner says that Thrive will be bringing events such as the Burger Showdown back in 2025 and will be considering other food competitions in the near future.
