Yankton is set to celebrate the 4th of July this weekend will be hosting events on the 4th and 5th.
Parks and Rec Director Todd Larson says that the festivities will include the first Music at the Meridian of the year.
The night will conclude with fireworks over the Meridian Bridge scheduled for 10 p.m.
Activities will continue on the 5th, Larson says that there will be a bean bag tournament and a vintage car show beginning at 4 p.m. at Riverside Park.
Larson says that there will be live music with headline act Logan Mize at 7:30 p.m.
Larson says that there will also be a drone show over the Meridian Bridge.
The drone show is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m.
