With the Class A Legion Baseball Regionals just a few weeks away, Yankton Post 12 is 6th in the latest powerpoints standings with an 11 and 5 Class A record.
As it stands, Yankton would host #10 Brandon Valley in a regional series. Yankton swept Brandon Valley when the two teams met in a doubleheader on Monday.
The latest standings and the current playoff teams are listed below. The top 14 teams besides Brookings will compete in the regional round. Brookings has an automatic bid to the State Tournament as the hosts.

The University of South Dakota announced yesterday that head football coach Bob Nielson has been named to the NCAA FCS Oversight Committee.
The FCS Oversight Committee supervises the qualifications and/or selection procedures for the FCS Championship, along with other matters involving the Championship.
The committee also provides direction to the NCAA Football Rules Committee regarding playing rules at the Division I FCS level.
Nielson has decades of experience as a head coach at the collegiate level, spending the last 12 seasons at the FCS level, and is entering his 10th season with USD.
The Lesterville Broncs defeated the Menno Mad Frogs 17 to 6 last night in South Central League Amateur Baseball action.
Ethan Wishon led Lesterville at the plate, finishing 4 for 5 with three RBI. Wishon also got the win on the mound for the Broncs, striking out four batters.
For Menno, Spencer Schultz led the bats with three hits. Macon Oplinger, Conner Merriam, and Brayden Sattler all added two hits of their own.
The next league game for Lesterville will be tomorrow night as they host Wynot. Menno is off until Sunday for a rematch with the Broncs in Lesterville.
