The City of Yankton Street Department will begin chip sealing several roads on Tuesday.
Streets scheduled for sealing include the following:
- Capital Street: From Riverside Drive to 2nd Street
- Pearl Street: From 8th Street to 15th Street
- Picotte Street: 8th Street to 15th Street 11th Street
- 11th Street: From West City Limits Road to Summit Street
- 11th Street: From Summit Street to Spruce Street
The streets will be closed to traffic during the seal coat process and opened to traffic immediately after the application.
The city says that chip sealing should be completed in approximately two days.
