The 8th and Burleigh Street intersection will be closed beginning Monday.
According to the City of Yankton, the contractor will be completing underground utility work as part of the 8th Street reconstruction project.
Detours will be set up and travelers are recommended to find an alternate route.
The underground work is anticipated to take approximately a week.
