Yankton Firefighters responded to a fire at the Sunrise Apartments on Green St. Monday.
Yankton Fire Chief, Tim Linke, says that the fire was reported by a resident around 10 a.m. Monday.
Linke says that when units arrived on scene, a resident reported that they could smell something burning in one of the hallways.
Linke says that firefighters were on scene for about an hour and there were no injuries.
