Tomorrow is Halloween, and AAA South Dakota and the Yankton Police Department are asking trick-or-treaters and drivers to be safe on Halloween night.
Shawn Steward, with AAA South Dakota, says that children are two times more likely to be hit by a vehicle on Halloween night compared to any other day of the year.
Steward advises trick-or-treaters to carry glowsticks and stick to walking on the sidewalk.
Yankton School Resource Officer, Jeremy Olson, advises wearing bright clothing.
Both Olson and Steward advise drivers to be extra cautious on Halloween night.
