Mount Marty Men’s Basketball fell to 6-3 on Saturday with a 71-67 loss to York University in Yankton.
Tash Lunday scored 23 points and 13 rebounds, and Angok Akot scored 20 points and 11 rebounds, both tallying a double-double in the win.
The Lancers are back in action on Wednesday for a Men’s and Women’s doubleheader against Doane in Crete, Nebraska.
Yankton Bucks Hockey improved to 3-1 on Saturday with a 6-4 road victory over Mitchell.
Connor Perakslis led Yankton with a pair of goals and an assist. Also on the score sheet were Rylan Murphy, Kylen O’Conner, Jack Pedersen, and Maxwell Weisenburger. Tucker Renken led Yankton in assists with 3, with Luke Moeller saving 30 shots in net.
Yankton returns to the ice on Friday, hosting Sioux Center inside the Kiwanis 4-H Ice Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:00 PM.
Yankton High School winter athletics kick off tomorrow night, with Yankton Gymnastics hosting a triangular and the River City Gymnastics Center.

The South Dakota Coyotes have their opponent set for next week’s FCS Playoff 2nd round matchup, as they will host Tarleton State inside the DakotaDome.
Tarleton State is 10-3 on the year following a 43-29 win over Drake in round one. USD enters with a 9-2 record as the #4 seed in the Playoffs.

The South Dakota State Jackrabbits have their FCS Playoff second-round matchup confirmed, as they will host Montana in a rematch of last season’s National Championship game.
Montana is coming off a 41-27 win over Tennessee State in round one. Montana enters the matchup 9-4, while SDSU holds a 10-2 record.
Kickoff from Dana J. Dykehouse Stadium is scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday afternoon.
South Dakota Volleyball earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament as the Summit League Tournament Champions, and they will take on #2-seeded Creighton in round one.
USD holds a 21-9 overall record entering the NCAA Tournament, while Creighton is 29-2 with a 22-match win streak.
First serve from Omaha, Nebraska is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 5th.
South Dakota State Volleyball earned an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, and they’ll take on #8 Miami in round one.
SDSU enters the NCAA Tournament with a 27-2 overall record, with their lone losses both coming in five sets to South Dakota and St. Thomas.
SDSU and Miami will face off in Lincoln, Nebraska on Friday. First serve is scheduled for 4:30 PM.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers ended their regular season last Friday night with a 13-10 loss to Iowa in Iowa City.
Quarterback Dylan Raiola finished the game 22 for 32 for 190 yards passing. Iowa Kicker Drew Stevens made the game-winning field goal as time expired.
The Huskers end the season with a 6-6 record, earning bowl eligibility for the first time in almost a decade.
