The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation hosted a drug trend seminar in Yankton on Friday.
DCI Agent, Tyler Heine, says that there are four drugs that they see the most frequently in the area.
Heine says that the DCI has seen a spike in methamphetamine and fentanyl in South Dakota recently.
Heine says that he encourages those in the community see or suspect any drug related activity to report it to law enforcement.
