Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s basketball will be on the road in Seward, Nebraska tonight for a GPAC doubleheader with Concordia.

The Lancer men enter the contest with 7-9 record, 4-6 in GPAC play. They will face a Bulldogs team that is 13-4 and riding a 6-game win streak.

The Lancer women are 8-9 on the season coming off their loss to Dordt. Concordia is 7-9 overall, 4-8 in GPAC play.

The women play first tonight at 6:00 PM with the men to follow. Pregame coverage on KYNT begins at 5:15. Tehl Tanner will be on the call.

Yankton Bucks Wrestling fell to the Bon Homme-Avon Cavaliers in a home dual last night, 60-16.

Joelton Reimnitz-Hahn and Shayce Platt each picked up pinfall victories for Yankton, while Peyton Eustace took a 16-6 decision win.

Yankton is back in action tomorrow night for a triangular in Aberdeen against Aberdeen Central and Brandon Valley. Matches are scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM.

Yankton Gazelles Wrestling was defeated by the Bon Homme-Avon-Scotland Cavaliers last night, 42-5.

The Cavaliers picked up 7 pins on the night, including one from four-time state champion Peyton Hellman. Chloe Caton picked up the lone win for Yankton.

Yankton is back in action tomorrow night for a triangular in Aberdeen against Aberdeen Central and Brandon Valley. Matches are scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM.

Yankton Gazelles Gymnastics tallied a season-best 134.75 as a team yesterday at their home triangular.

Individually for Yankton, Burkely Olson placed 4th all around and 9th on floor exercise, Addison Laphear placed 7th on the vault, Madison Byrkeland tied for 8th on the beam, and Emma Gobel finished 12 on the bars.

Next up for Yankton is an invitational in Huron on Friday. Events are scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM.

South Dakota State University head women’s basketball coach Aaron Johnston will be the featured guest speaker at today’s Yankton Quarterback Club meeting.

Johnston has tallied a 612-194 record at the helm for SDSU since taking over as interim head coach during the 1998-99 season. SDSU is currently 14-3 this season, 4-0 in the Summit League.

Today’s meeting will be held at the River Rock Event Center in Yankton. A paid meal will be served at 11:15, with the meeting beginning at noon. The public is invited to attend.

The Cedar Catholic Trojans split their doubleheader with Wynot last night. The boys fell 60-50, while the girls won 52-34.

The Cedar Catholic boys return to action tomorrow, taking on Dakota Valley, while the girls are off until their home matchup with Pierce on Friday.

South Dakota Coyotes guard Grace Larkins earned a pair of national honors yesterday, as she was named one of the U.S. Basketball Writer’s Association’s Players of the Week, and the Associated Press National Player of the Week.

Larkins set a new school scoring record last week, posting 45 points in USD’s win over Omaha. Larkins’s 45-point performance is the 2nd most in the nation this season, and the 3rd most all-time in the Summit League.

Larkins and the Coyotes are on the road tonight in Grand Forks, North Dakota to take on North Dakota. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

South Dakota Coyotes Men’s Basketball returns home tomorrow night to host Oral Roberts inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.

The Coyotes are 10-8 on the year, but are undefeated on their home court with a 9-0 record.

Tip-off from Vermillion is scheduled for 7:00 PM tomorrow night.

South Dakota State Men’s Basketball hits the hardwood tomorrow night, hosting North Dakota inside First Bank & Trust Arena.

The Jackrabbits have fallen in their last two games, only losing by a combined 8 points. SDSU holds a 7-0 home record this season.

Tip-off from Brookings is scheduled for 7:00 PM tomorrow night.
