The Yankton School Board has announced that they’re opposed to the proposed Education Savings Account bill that’s on the table for the 2025 legislative session.
School Board President, Sarah Carda, says that the Education Savings Account is a different title for a school voucher program.
Carda says that the school board believes that there’s a lack of transparency.
Carda says that the school board will oppose all Legislative bills promoting any school voucher program during the 2025 legislative session.
